About the role
The Rental Key Accounts Manager is responsible for managing and expanding key rental accounts, ensuring strong customer relationships and supporting the company's vision of working as “One Professional Team.”
Responsibilities
- Maintain a current and accurate customer call list
- Enter key customer information into SalesLink and the Wagner Rents CRM
- Manage and track business-related expenses
- Complete and submit required reports on time
- Maintain strong communication with strategic accounts and the Regional Manager
- Keep an accurate appointment calendar
- Conduct office and on-site sales calls with strong communication skills
- Collaborate effectively with internal Wagner teams
- Represent Wagner Rents professionally as a company ambassador
- Use customer lists to make regular office and job site calls
- Complete rental sales transactions to support revenue and profitability goals
- Actively quote new and used allied equipment
- Involvement with management on key customer relationship issues
- Cooordinating with equipment sales and rental reps on shared accounts
- Stay current on Wagner Rents product features and benefits
- Manage regional high-value accounts ($500K–$1M; select accounts $1M–$3M)
- Pursue a limited number of high-potential conquest accounts ($250K–$500K or lower with growth potential)
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years administrative/clerical experience
- 3+ years customer service experience
- 3+ years rental or sales experience in rental equipment industry
- 1+ years experience in account management, industry preferred
Qualifications
- Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, etc.
- Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
Skills
- Understanding of diagrams and schematics
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Internet

Pay
$60,000 annually + Commission
