Rental Delivery Lead Associate - Winter Season
Position Summary
Lead delivery associates are the face of Ski Butlers. At its core, our lead associates interact with customers daily by delivering equipment rentals to their accommodations, completing on-mountain support service and picking up gear at the end of their rental period. We empower our lead associates to build confident decision making, accountability and professional skills in the workplace. Lead delivery associates are responsible for upholding Ski Butlers and Winter Park Customer service standards while managing the flow of day to day operations.
Essential Duties
- Delivery: Completing scheduled and reactive ski/snowboard rental fittings while focusing on our three Key Customer Requirements:
- On Time: Arriving within 5 minutes of the agreed upon time
- Communication: Setting clear expectations around the entire scope of service
- Equipment: Choosing the right equipment for each guest given their skills and current conditions at the resort
- Support: Providing equipment support to our guests within 45 minutes
- Pickup: All scheduled returns are brought back to the shop, sanitized, re-stickered and tuned for their next use
- Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and fuel levels
- Packing orders for future delivery
- Setting up the next shift and future team members for success
Other Duties
- Responsible for supporting Winter Park Resort Rental shops when not actively engaged in Ski Delivery activities.
- Making/Answering customer phone calls with a positive and inviting tone of voice
- Restocking delivery vehicles with extra equipment
- Planning delivery routes, support calls and pickups for the current and upcoming shift.
- Responding to customer phone calls, text messages, emails and voicemails in a timely manner.
- Upselling existing guests via phone calls/texts in predelivery communication
- Taking reservations and issuing refunds
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Expect weekend and holiday work.
- Daily operations broken into morning and evening shifts.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- No previous rental experience required!
Education Requirements
A High School Diploma or GED.
