Rental Coordinator

About the role
PACCAR Leasing, a PACCAR division, was founded in 1980 to provide premium Kenworth and Peterbilt vehicles to leasing and rental customers. With independent and company-owned locations throughout the United States and Canada, PacLease provides customized full-service lease, rental, and contract maintenance programs designed to meet your specific fleet needs.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Manage Rental counter functions including but not limited to, yard checks, completion of rental agreements, lease & rental invoicing, and vehicle check-in & check-out.
- Provide customer service functions to include, but not limited to, sales activity (both outside and telephone), telephone solicitations, supporting existing customer relationships and reservation coordination.
- Cold call solicitation to generate new rental business.
- Provide administrative support to include word processing, filing, and phone coverage.
- Fuel tax recording and receipts.
- Licence/permit tracking.
- Insurance verification and follow-up.
- Complete yard checks and customer check out'/in's outside in all weather conditions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with customer service in a fast-paced environment, including handling sales activities, telephone solicitations, and supporting customer relationships.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as part of a team and supporting colleagues, with the ability to work independently when needed.
- A “Team Player.”
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education
- Associate’s degree required.
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
