Position Summary
Aid in renting equipment and assisting fellow sales representatives throughout the rental and sales process. Handle paperwork, dispatch drivers, manage fleet, and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- High School GED or equivalent, plus 1-2 years of construction equipment and rental experience.
- Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
- Basic computer and keyboard skills.
- Ability to read and interpret business materials and governmental regulations.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Take customer calls and sales requests for rental equipment.
- Handle paperwork for rentals and demos, including agreements, invoicing, and credit authorizations.
- Coordinate rental, used, and demo hauling through central dispatch.
- Work with rental utility/yard technicians for check-outs and check-ins.
- Assist with special projects, asset management, and inventories.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Basic algebra and geometry.
- Common sense and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to read and write business documents.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including keyboarding.
- Knowledge of material handling equipment helpful but not mandatory.
Physical Demands
- Sit and stand for extended periods.
- Use hands and arms to handle and feel objects.
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Regularly work in outside weather conditions.
- Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and in high precarious places.
- Exposure to fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration.
- Noise levels are usually moderate.

Pay Range
$24.00 - $28.00 per hour, dependent on knowledge, skills, and ability to perform job responsibilities.
