Essential Functions
- Determine customer needs on a daily basis.
- Take orders/requests from internal and external customers.
- Problem solve or refer customer to someone who can meet their need.
- Fulfill customer orders to their satisfaction and according to company guidelines.
- Work with Service Operations to ensure economical rental maintenance costs.
- Communicate essential information to sales, other employees, customers, and managers.
- Help establish competitive rental rates in assigned area.
- Review and approve service work orders on rental equipment, cross-check that warranty is filed.
- Monitor and communicate on market, utilization & trends in assigned region and competitor trends to management.
- Maintain accurate records and files.
- Accurate billing of all short term rental contracts.
- Work with other departments to develop effective strategies to increase sales and gross profit in the contractor division.
- Continuously improve knowledge and skills.
- Look for change in processes and seek new innovations in products and services.
- Maintain acceptable personal and work area standards for safety, appearance, and equipment condition.
- Uphold the EDO vision, mission statements, values, and objectives.
- Understand our customers.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Graduate
- Experience: Related industry experience is preferred, Experience with scheduling and overseeing delivery/transportation personnel is preferred, Industrial rental knowledge is preferred
- Computer Skills: Skilled in the use of computers
