About the Role

Join our team as a Forklift Technician, where you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of material handling equipment. We are looking for skilled mechanics who are passionate about keeping our customers' operations running smoothly. Our factory-trained technicians work out of fully-equipped mobile service vans, providing 24/7 emergency repair services across our network.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair all types of forklifts and material handling equipment, including electric, LP, and diesel models
• Perform routine planned maintenance to maximize uptime and prevent unexpected breakdowns
• Respond to emergency service calls and provide on-site repairs in a timely manner
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair needs with customers
• Ensure all safety protocols and equipment standards are met during service operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with material handling or heavy equipment
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Willingness to travel to customer locations within our service area

Skills

• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems
• Experience with LP, diesel, and electric-powered equipment
• Familiarity with computer diagnostic tools
• Strong customer service and communication abilities
