About the Role
VanCraft LLC is a fast-growing campervan rental company that manufactures, maintains, and rents custom-built campervans. We are an energetic, inspired, and entrepreneurial team with a passion for travel and adventure. Our campervans function as hotels on wheels, equipped with bedding, kitchen tables, curtains, and other amenities exposed to the elements during camping trips. This role involves two major operations:
- Van Prep: Gutting, cleaning, and reconditioning used vans in preparation for camper conversion.
- Rentals: Ensuring vans are cleaned and detailed to company standards, and verifying the functionality of all campervan components (sink, refrigerator, lights, stove, etc.) to confirm road-readiness.
Candidates with housekeeping or detailing experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm and enthusiastic customer service throughout the rental process, including pickup and return.
- Resolve or escalate customer questions, complaints, and issues to the appropriate person.
- Maintain check-in/out forms and legal documents for the rental process.
- Assist with end-of-day close-out procedures and in-person van checkouts.
- Encourage customers to provide social media contact and feedback.
- Convey any issues to management as they arise.
- Ensure the depot is maintained in a clean and tidy manner.
- Launder campervan bedding, clean and maintain camping gear and accessories.
- Keep propane and water systems topped off.
- Monitor vehicle condition to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines (e.g., tire tread, brakes, seat belts, DMV certifications).
- Clean and detail campervans to company standards.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- 1–3 years of sales or customer service experience.
- Must be 21 years of age with a clean driving record.
- Experience in travel, hospitality, or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Camping or road trip experience is a plus.
Skills
