Renovation Project Specialist - New Braunfels, TX

Job Summary

Responsible for coordination of renovation and new construction projects, which includes consulting with vendors, tracking, coordinating, and staging orders for product and installation. Partners with the sales, customers, merchandising, and vendors to provide specifications and quotes required for renovation or construction projects.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, And Key Accountabilities

• Captures and relays key pricing factors to vendors for special orders, particularly for high-volume multiple unit facilities.
• Assists with product selection and generates quotes.
• Creates quote presentations for sales representatives.
• Maintains consistent and accurate project status updates.
• May conduct sourcing for vendors outside of the standard catalog vendors to fulfill client needs, typically contacting already sourced vendors.
• Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Nature and Scope

Works under general supervision, exercising some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor is typical. May require overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Work Environment

Usually located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort, such as dust, fumes, or odors. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunities to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Education And Experience

HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
