Responsibilities
- Advise clients on tax credit qualification, including beginning-of-construction, prevailing wage, and apprenticeship requirements under Internal Revenue Code Sections 45 and 48.
- Support M&A transactions, tax equity financings, tax credit transfers, and other joint ventures.
- Contribute to a practice that offers genuine depth of experience and meaningful client responsibility from day one.
Requirements
- 1-8 years of relevant experience at a law firm.
- Demonstrated experience with tax credit transactions, tax credit transfers, tax equity financings, and tax opinion letters.
- Excellent academic credentials (required); an LL.M. in taxation is preferred.
- Admission to the Texas Bar, or eligibility for admission by waiver or examination.
