Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate
About the Role
Husch Blackwell LLP, a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, is seeking a Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate with five to seven years of experience. Candidates may apply to any of our offices, including our virtual office, The Link. The role involves working primarily with attorneys in our Energy & Natural Resources Strategic Business Unit on wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions, including development and financing.
Responsibilities
- Handle real estate transactions related to wind, solar, and battery storage projects
- Work on both development and financing aspects of renewable energy projects
- Collaborate with attorneys in the Energy & Natural Resources Strategic Business Unit
- Manage multiple projects effectively and articulate legal strategies
Requirements
- Five to seven years of experience in renewable energy real estate transactions
- Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office of application or commitment to obtain one promptly
- Excellent academic credentials
- Commitment to community involvement
- Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Exceptional judgment and ability to handle multiple projects
Qualifications
- Experience with wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions
- Demonstrated record of working well under pressure
- Ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action

Pay
Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C. is $220,000 to $280,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data.
