Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate

Husch Blackwell LLP is a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, dedicated to our clients and the industries they serve. We have an immediate opening for a Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate in any of our offices, including our virtual office, The Link.

About the role

The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Energy & Natural Resources Strategic Business Unit, focusing on wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions through both development and financing.

Requirements

• Five to seven years of experience preferred in renewable energy real estate transactions
• Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying, or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible
• Excellent academic credentials
• Superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure
• Exceptional judgment and ability to effectively handle multiple projects
• Ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action
• Commitment to the community

Pay

Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position is:

• $220,000 to $280,000 in California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C., commensurate with qualifications and experience
• Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data
