About the role

The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Energy & Natural Resources Strategic Business Unit.

Responsibilities

- Experience with wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions, through both development and financing. - Work closely with attorneys to handle complex real estate matters. - Provide legal advice and support to clients in renewable energy projects. - Draft and review contracts, leases, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills. - Communicate legal strategies and courses of action effectively to clients and colleagues.

Requirements

- Five to seven years of experience in real estate law, preferably in renewable energy. - Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying. - Excellent academic credentials. - Commitment to the community and superior interpersonal skills. - Demonstrated record of working well under pressure. - Exceptional judgment and ability to handle multiple projects. - Ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.

Pay

The compensation range for this position in California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C. is $220,000 to $280,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data.

Schedule
