About the role
Husch Blackwell LLP is a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, dedicated to our clients and the industries they serve. We have an immediate opening for a Renewable Energy Real Estate Associate with five to seven years of experience preferred. We will consider candidates for any of our offices including our virtual office, The Link.
Responsibilities
- Work primarily with attorneys in our Energy & Natural Resources Strategic Business Unit
- Handle wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions through both development and financing
- Articulate legal strategies and courses of action
- Effectively handle multiple projects
Qualifications
- Five to seven years of experience preferred
- Experience with wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions, through both development and financing
- Excellent academic credentials
- Superior interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated record of working well under pressure
- Exceptional judgment
- Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible

Pay
Compensation range for California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C. is $220,000 to $280,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data.
