Removal Floater

About the role

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

Responsibilities

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• Availability to work on-site
• Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location
• 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break; hours determined by workload and management
• Must work required schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 10 AM – 6:30 PM & Tuesday/Thursday 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be customer-focused
