Remote Volunteer Community Engagement Lead — Partnerships & Youth

Responsibilities

• Develop community-engagement priorities, messages, and relationship plans
• Research and connect with aligned organizations, coalitions, schools, and community leaders
• Listen to partner needs and identify mutually beneficial opportunities
• Cook up introductions, meetings, presentations, follow-up, and commitments
• Sustain community events, volunteer recruitment, scholarship outreach, and program referrals
• Keep accurate relationship notes, next steps, and partnership records
• Help create inclusive feedback and advisory channels
• Represent Believe in Me professionally using approved mission and program information

Qualifications

• Experience in community engagement, partnerships, nonprofit programs, outreach, public relations, education, or coalition-building
• Strong listening, facilitation, writing, relationship-building, and follow-through skills
• Ability to work respectfully across diverse communities and avoid transactional outreach
• Comfort with remote meetings, CRM or spreadsheets, and organized follow-up
• Existing Seattle-area or Washington relationships are helpful but not required
