About the role

We are a mid-sized firm seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Partner to join our team. This role focuses on providing strategic tax planning, advisory, and compliance services to high-net-worth clients (average net worth over $10 million). The position offers a clear path to partnership and is ideal for seasoned tax professionals looking to advance their careers.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive tax planning and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and their related entities.
• Oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including preparation and review of tax returns and projections.
• Develop and implement tailored tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes for clients.
• Stay current with the latest developments in tax law and regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive advice.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their unique needs and delivering exceptional service.
• Collaborate with partners and team members to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to client service.
• Provide thought leadership and contribute to the firm’s growth by identifying new business opportunities and participating in marketing initiatives.
• Experience with trusts, estates, and wealth planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree in Taxation or a CPA designation is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax role with a focus on high-net-worth individuals, preferably in a public accounting or law firm.
• In-depth knowledge of tax accounting, tax law, tax planning, tax advisory, and tax compliance.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation and provide practical advice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
• Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and contributing to the firm’s growth and success.

Pay

$200,000 – $350,000 per year
