About the role
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join a business tax team specializing in closely held family groups and their owners.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing complex business tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1040)
- Managing client relationships
- Supervising project teams
- Conducting tax research
- Ensuring compliance with regulations such as partnership basis adjustments and multi-state filings
Qualifications
- An active CPA license
- 5+ years of public accounting experience including managerial roles
- Proficiency in tax software (preferably CCH Axcess & Engagement)
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with M&A due diligence, foreign reporting, and collaboration preferred
