Remote Tax Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary advisor for a portfolio of high-net-worth and closely held business clients
• Perform and review complex tax calculations, analysis, and planning initiatives
• Identify tax risks and opportunities and communicate recommendations to clients and their advisors
• Collaborate with firm leadership on technical research and consulting engagements
• Build trusted relationships with clients, attorneys, CPAs, and financial professionals
• Deliver high-level client service while maintaining exceptional technical accuracy

Qualifications

• CPA required
• 5-7 years of public accounting tax experience preferred
• Current Tax Manager, Senior Tax Manager, or strong Manager-track candidate
• Strong technical tax skills with experience handling complex issues and structures
• Experience working directly with clients and serving as a trusted advisor
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Demonstrated career progression and professional stability
• Desire to develop expertise within a highly specialized consulting practice
