REMOTE Synthetic Aperture Radar Systems Engineer (Processing)

About the role

Join an exciting opportunity to develop algorithms and systems for processing Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data. Your work will involve modeling, verifying performance specifications, and developing simulators for testing and verification.

This is a Contract position based out of Denver, Colorado; fully remote. The position is anticipated to close on Oct 23, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms to process SAR data.
• Model and verify system performance to meet specifications.
• Develop and maintain simulators for testing and verification.
• Collaborate with ground software and software teams.

Skills

• Proficiency in signal processing.
• Strong understanding of SAR theory.
• Experience with geospatial technologies.
• Proficiency in MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Experience with satellite or airborne SAR systems.
• Knowledge of multifunctional radars and performance reviews.
• Experience with preliminary and critical design reviews.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $113.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
