Remote Stocking Locations Coordinator
Full-time position, 40 hours per week. Alternating weekend shifts required; when scheduled for weekends, days off will be during the week. Consecutive weekdays off cannot be guaranteed.
Pay
$18.85 - $28.30 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Understand the overall Supply & Distribution operation and daily expectations to fulfill customer (patient caregiver) needs, providing necessary intervention to meet requirements.
- Review daily work/task schedule for individual assignments and fulfill expectations with minimal supervision, addressing customer complaints or concerns.
- Inventory and enter data into handheld devices for RSLs (Remote Stocking Locations), download data into EHS for inventory updates, and print pick tickets.
- Pick daily products from pick tickets and RSLs, ensuring correct quantity and unit of measure, then load products on carts for distribution or deliver to RSLs for restocking.
- Return all shipping containers or packaging for proper disposal and report discrepancies to the Team Leader.
- Maintain responsibility for an assigned warehouse area, meeting or exceeding daily inspection standards for appearance, orderliness, and cleanliness.
- Report any situations affecting the Supply & Distribution Department’s operational flow to the Team Leader, particularly regarding supplies and equipment for patient care.
- Accurately pull inventory items from the Distribution Center, including items stored in high locations requiring forklifts, pickers, or ladders.
- Ensure timely delivery, pickup, and transfer of patient care supplies across all patient care areas.
- Communicate with Nursing Directors or designees regarding additions, deletions, or changes to RSLs and relay information to the Supply & Distribution Team Leader.
- Maintain and replenish over 55 RSLs, working directly with clinical staff to ensure essential supplies for patient care are properly stocked.
- Learn and identify over 1,400 different medical supplies.
- Use handheld devices to download inventory counts into the EHS Materials Management system.
- Maintain neat and organized RSLs and process returned patient care items for credit.
- Manually enter information into EHS for inventory and budgetary purposes, checking all items for expiration dates to ensure patient safety.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a written exam for basic communication, writing, arithmetic, and general problem-solving skills.
- Minimum of one (1) year in a customer service position; warehouse and distribution background preferred.
- General awareness of infection control principles.
- Lift Truck (forklift) Safety Course preferred; required to complete within the initial six-month probationary period.

- Capability to assist coworkers in overlapping tasks and prioritize job tasks efficiently.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Ability to use visual near and distance acuity.
- Verbal ability to communicate in person, over the phone, or via radio.
- Assist coworkers in transfers and transport of supplies, patients/residents, or equipment using proper body mechanics.
- Functional range of motion in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spines, upper and lower extremities, with a grip strength of 60-80 pounds.
- Ability to forward reach, overhead reach, bend, squat, kneel, and change positions rapidly.
- Lift 25-60 lbs. and carry 25-50 pounds as required by job evaluation.
- Tolerate high noise levels, busy atmospheres, and noxious odors.
- Work in noisy environments and remain self-directed to complete tasks as assigned.
- If identified under POPE C, must pass the cardiac recovery test.
