About the Role

This position involves overseeing a remote surgical coding team nationwide, ensuring accurate coding and compliance while providing leadership and support to medical coders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate coding using CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 standards.
• Supervise and support a team of medical coders, providing guidance and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to clarify documentation and optimize coding accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and coding guidelines.
• Drive revenue growth through precise and compliant coding practices.
• Utilize Epic software proficiently and communicate effectively across teams.
• Adapt to a telecommuting environment while adhering to regulatory and organizational standards.

Requirements

• Experience in medical coding with leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Expertise in CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in Epic.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in healthcare coding.
• Ability to work remotely with self-motivation and organizational skills.
