Primary Responsibilities
- Evaluate study data quality for in-lab and HST studies
- Score HST, MSLT, MWT, PSG, SPLIT, and PAP studies
- Analyze data acquired during polysomnographic (sleep) studies
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and standards regarding safety and infection control issues
- Contribute to the Home Sleep Testing (HST) department
- Ensure the highest standard of care for patients with sleep disorders
Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential holder
- Licensure in the states that require Licensure for scoring of diagnostic tests (as-needed)
- BLS/CPR-certified
- Minimum of two years’ experience in scoring of sleep studies
- Minimum two years’ experience with HST devices
- Knowledge of all aspects of polysomnography and sleep medicine protocols
- Access to high-speed internet
- Computer and software skills
- Quality control and confidentiality procedures
- Data analysis and situation resolution skills
- Multiple sleep software program knowledge
- Independent judgment and discretion for decision making
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Education of staff, patients, and families
