Remote Scoring - PRN - Maryland Region

Primary Responsibilities

• Evaluate study data quality for in-lab and HST studies
• Score HST, MSLT, MWT, PSG, SPLIT, and PAP studies
• Analyze data acquired during polysomnographic (sleep) studies
• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and standards regarding safety and infection control issues
• Contribute to the Home Sleep Testing (HST) department
• Ensure the highest standard of care for patients with sleep disorders

Job Requirements

• High school diploma
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential holder
• Licensure in the states that require Licensure for scoring of diagnostic tests (as-needed)
• BLS/CPR-certified
• Minimum of two years’ experience in scoring of sleep studies
• Minimum two years’ experience with HST devices
• Knowledge of all aspects of polysomnography and sleep medicine protocols
• Access to high-speed internet
• Computer and software skills
• Quality control and confidentiality procedures
• Data analysis and situation resolution skills
• Multiple sleep software program knowledge
• Independent judgment and discretion for decision making
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Education of staff, patients, and families
