Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new clients in the Midwest (e.g., IL, IN, MI, OH, WI) and West Coast (e.g., CA, OR, WA, NV) through research, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients, focusing on industries with high electronics turnover, such as manufacturing, IT, healthcare, and education.
- Present tailored solutions for electronics recycling and circuit board purchasing, highlighting cost savings, environmental benefits, and compliance with e-waste regulations.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns for lead generation in assigned regions.
- Document all sales activities, leads, and client interactions in the company CRM system for accurate tracking and follow-up.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulations (e.g., R2, e-Stewards), and competitor offerings to position our services effectively.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in electronics recycling, IT asset disposition, or a related field.
- Proven success in new client acquisition through cold calling, lead generation, and relationship building.
- Strong understanding of the electronics recycling industry, including circuit board purchasing and e-waste compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers remotely.
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality, capable of working independently in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and virtual meeting tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events in the Midwest and West Coast (travel expenses covered).
