Responsibilities

• Setting Appointments – 6‑8 hours per week: reach out to potential clients who have previously requested coverage and schedule meetings to discuss mortgage protection.
• Research – 4‑5 hours per week: analyze client information to customize options for death or disability protection.
• Meeting with Families – 2 days per week: meet with clients virtually or in‑person to present options, discuss coverage details, and help them apply.
• Administrative – 2 hours per week: follow up with insurance carriers to facilitate client applications through underwriting.

Qualifications

We are looking for coachable, challenge‑seeking, self‑disciplined individuals with a growth mindset; skill set is not the sole factor for this position.

Pay

This is a commission‑only sales position. The average commission on a mortgage protection product is about $600 per family protected. Full‑time agents are expected to sell 5‑10 mortgage protection plans per week. In addition, agents can sell premium financial products (e.g., 401(k)s, IRAs) to help clients save for retirement or protect existing accounts.
