Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining APIs using Ruby on Rails, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Collaborating with team members to integrate server-side logic with user interfaces.
- Writing maintainable, test-driven code with tools like RSpec and Cypress.
- Participating in Agile practices such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
- Identifying and resolving performance issues and bugs.
- Documenting technical processes and contributing to code reviews.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, RESTful API development, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with version control (Git) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with React form development, CI/CD pipelines, and log analysis tools.
- Knowledge of accessibility, web performance, and federal sector experiences.
