Position Summary
Blackbird Health is looking for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our interdisciplinary team in a weekend-only role. You will deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults. We are looking for clinicians licensed in PA, VA, NJ, or MD—or those willing to become licensed in these states with full financial sponsorship from Blackbird.

The Basics You’ll Need
Education: Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program.
Certification: PMHNP-BC certification.
Experience: At least one year of independent psychiatric experience working under licensure.
Licensure: Active license in PA, VA, NJ, or MD (OR a current license in another state and a willingness to obtain these via Blackbird sponsorship).
Compliance: DEA license and State Prescriptive Authority.
Availability: Must be available for weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM ET.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Comprehensive Care: Conduct evaluations, assessments, and medication management for the 2–26 age range.
Whole-Child Integration: Work with therapists to create treatment plans that address the root cause of behavior.
Family Empowerment: Educate parents and caregivers, helping them navigate their child’s mental health journey.
Clinical Excellence: Oversee diagnostic testing and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.

Salary Range
$72,500 USD - $175,000 USD
