Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Utah

About the role

This is a fully remote outpatient psychiatric nurse practitioner position for a licensed psychiatric advanced practice provider. The role focuses on evaluating and treating lower to moderate acuity patients, including individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, within a supported care model that includes referrals, scheduling, and billing resources while maintaining meaningful clinical autonomy. The position is remote, US‑based candidates only; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% remote, outpatient psychiatric care
• Manage lower to moderate acuity populations such as anxiety and depression
• Conduct 60-minute intake sessions and 30-minute follow-up visits
• Utilize an integrated care model with in-house referrals
• Receive full operational support for scheduling and billing
• Maintain clinical autonomy in decision‑making
• Balance patient population according to individual preferences

Qualifications

• Board‑certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP‑BC)
• Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority
• Minimum of 3 years of post‑graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP
• Experience in outpatient psychiatric care, including evaluations and medication management
• Comfort with telepsychiatry and electronic medical records
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice and continuous development

Pay

$180,000 – $215,000 annually
