Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Maryland

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Maryland to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will provide fully remote outpatient psychiatric care with a focus on accessible, evidence-based treatment for lower to moderate acuity patients. The position combines clinical autonomy with a well-supported operational environment, allowing the right practitioner to concentrate on patient care and medication management. You will work closely with integrated care resources and internal referral pathways to help deliver coordinated behavioral health services. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% remote, outpatient psychiatric care
• Manage lower to moderate acuity populations such as anxiety and depression
• Conduct 60-minute intake sessions and 30-minute follow-up visits
• Utilize an integrated care model with in-house referrals
• Receive full operational support for scheduling and billing
• Maintain clinical autonomy in decision-making
• Balance patient population according to individual preferences

Qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP
• Experience in outpatient psychiatric care, including evaluations and medication management
• Comfort with telepsychiatry and electronic medical records
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous development

Pay

$180,000 – $215,000 annually
