Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Louisiana

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% remote outpatient psychiatric care
• Handle lower to moderate acuity populations such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD
• Conduct standard 60-minute intake sessions and 30-minute follow-up appointments
• Avoid inpatient and crisis coverage responsibilities
• Utilize an integrated care model with in-house referrals
• Manage patient cases with clinical autonomy and flexibility in scheduling
• Make clinical decisions within established standards without added pressure

Qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP
• Experience in outpatient psychiatric care, inclusive of evaluations, treatment plans, and medication management
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation
• Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing clinical development

Pay

$180,000 – $215,000 annually
