Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Connecticut
Talkiatry is a clinician-led, virtual psychiatry practice built to combine the stability of a hospital practice with the clinical autonomy of private practice. This role is designed for experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) who want predictable, W-2 compensation and benefits, control over their schedule and patient population, and minimal administrative burden in a fully remote, outpatient model.
About the role
Your day-to-day practice will involve 100% remote, outpatient psychiatric care for lower to moderate acuity populations (e.g., anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD). Standard session lengths include 60-minute intakes and 30-minute follow-ups. The role excludes inpatient, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization, or crisis coverage. You’ll work within an integrated care model with an in-house referral network to psychiatrists and therapists, and receive full operational support including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing.

Requirements
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority
- Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP
- Experience delivering outpatient psychiatric care, including:
- Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management
- Psychoeducation and supportive therapy
- Comfort practicing in a fully remote, telepsychiatry-based model
- Proficiency using electronic medical records to document care accurately and efficiently
- Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and collaborative, team-based approach
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous clinical development
Pay
Total annual on-target earnings of $180k–$215k+, consisting of base salary and monthly productivity incentive. Incentive guaranteed during initial onboarding ramp-up period.
Schedule
Full-time and part-time W-2 employment.
