About the role
A licensed physician providing virtual healthcare services across multiple states, focusing on addiction care, weight management, and general telehealth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality virtual patient assessments, reviews, and treatments.
- Build compassionate, patient-centered relationships.
- Order and interpret lab tests to inform care decisions.
- Prescribe medications, including buprenorphine for opioid addiction, excluding controlled substances (except buprenorphine).
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and stay current with medical advancements.
Requirements
- Active medical license in at least three, preferably five, U.S. states, with willingness to obtain additional licenses.
- Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings.
- Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours weekly, with flexible scheduling and advanced planning.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with telemedicine platforms and EMRs.
- DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required).
