About the Role
Seeking dedicated, licensed physicians to provide high-quality virtual care across various specialties, including primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care. The role involves delivering compassionate, patient-centered telehealth services, conducting assessments, reviewing medical histories, ordering and interpreting lab tests, prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and collaborating with healthcare teams. Physicians will maintain thorough medical documentation and stay updated on medical advancements and telehealth best practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional virtual patient care and assessments
- Build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
- Order, interpret labs, and prescribe medications
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Stay current with telehealth innovations and medical advancements
Requirements
- Active medical license in at least three, preferably five, U.S. states; willingness to obtain additional licenses (support provided)
- Experience in telehealth or high-volume clinical settings
- License in key states such as CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- DEA certification and applicable CSL if needed
- Strong communication skills and commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
- Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly, with flexible scheduling
Key Duties
- Focus on patient care without administrative burdens
- Work remotely with flexible hours and locations
- Participate in onboarding and necessary training, including buprenorphine training
- Ensure comprehensive, high-quality virtual medical services
