Remote Physician

About the role

This position involves providing high-quality virtual medical care across multiple states as a licensed physician. Work remotely with flexible scheduling, focusing on patient assessments, treatment, prescribing medications (excluding most controlled substances), and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered virtual care and build therapeutic relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests to support treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications, including buprenorphine for opioid use disorder
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care
• Stay updated on medical advancements and telehealth best practices

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states, with willingness to obtain additional licenses supported by the employer
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours weekly across multiple days
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence
• Proficiency with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
• Active DEA registration and applicable state credentials
• Interest in expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities
