Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Job Description The role involves working as a Pharmacy Technician within the MedPharm team, focusing on Medicare and Medicaid patients, primarily Medicare. The position requires handling Prior Authorizations (PAs) through two main functions: intake and Tech Review. Responsibilities Manage the intake process of MedPharm prior authorizations by setting up PAs in the system and forwarding them to a review technician.Conduct Tech Reviews by receiving PA cases from the intake team, reviewing them for coverage, and making clinical determinations on medication approvals or denials.Read and interpret criteria, SOPs, insurance documents, and medical documents to determine patient eligibility. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
