Remote Mortgage Loan Officer

Responsibilities

• Consult clients on financing options to meet their financial goals
• Develop relationships with agents and customers, serving as the expert on mortgage products
• Close a high percentage of leads and manage loan pipeline
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize customer outcomes
• Support weekend coverage periodically

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 3+ years lending experience with an active NMLS license (Georgia or Colorado)
• Strong sales and consultative skills to recommend suitable financial solutions
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities, including after-hours communication
• Deep knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA guidelines; familiarity with non-QM and renovation loans is a plus
• Tech-savvy, with experience in systems like Blend or Byte preferred
