Remote Insurance Sales Representative
About the role
The Butler Agency is seeking motivated, coachable, and people-driven individuals to join our growing team as Remote Phone Sales Representatives. This is a fully remote opportunity where you'll work directly with clients to help them understand coverage solutions tailored to their needs. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position with performance-based commission compensation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct phone-based consultations with prospective clients
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
- Follow a structured sales process to guide clients through applications
- Build trust and long-term relationships with clients
- Manage and follow up with leads to maximize conversions
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset
- Comfortable speaking with clients over the phone
- Coachable and open to learning proven sales systems
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
- Previous phone sales, insurance, or customer service experience is a plus (not required)
Qualifications
- Licensed insurance agents are strongly encouraged to apply
- Unlicensed candidates are welcome to apply
- Willingness to obtain the required insurance license is expected for candidates who are not currently licensed
- Training, mentorship, and licensing support are available for motivated individuals committed to building a career in the insurance industry
