About the Opportunity

The Remote Healthcare Call Center Representative is responsible for managing telehealth-based communications via phone and email. This role supports customers by resolving healthcare-related inquiries and technical challenges, contributing to patient satisfaction and the smooth operation of telehealth services. The position is critical in maintaining service quality and facilitating access to healthcare consultations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a steady volume of incoming calls and emails from customers.
• Provide information on services, provider availability, insurance coverage, and visit costs.
• Aid patients with scheduling virtual healthcare appointments.
• Offer technical support for telehealth enrollment, scheduling, and visits.
• Investigate billing issues, refund requests, and escalate as necessary.
• Guide patients through self-service options for medical records and prescriptions.
• Collect patient feedback on service quality and technical experience.

Requirements

• A high school diploma, GED, or college degree.
• Successful completion of a 3-week virtual training and 1 week of supervised practice.
• Completion of customer service assessment and typing test (computer required).
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Successful background check.
• Home workspace meeting equipment and environment standards, including high-speed wired internet.

Pay Range and Compensation Package

• The pay rate is $16.50 per hour.
• Health benefits (medical, dental, vision) are available starting on the first day of employment.
• Paid time off accrues after 180 days of employment.
