Remote General Litigation Associate Attorney

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated General Litigation Attorney to join our growing litigation team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of civil litigation matters and will be comfortable working independently while collaborating with attorneys, clients, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Draft legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, briefs, and discovery responses
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Take and defend depositions
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as appropriate

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license and good standing with the Bar
• +3 years of experience in general civil litigation
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
• Must sit where there is an office for this firm - across the United States

Preferred (but not required)

• Trial or courtroom experience
• Experience in commercial litigation, employment, insurance defense, personal injury, etc.
