Responsibilities
- Manage transmission and telecom services for ESPN remote events
- Plan and integrate operational aspects for events in coordination with various departments
- Disseminate work order information timely to all relevant stakeholders
- Provide on-site support for transmission and telecommunications at venues
- Conduct site surveys and prepare pre-event plans for remote events
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of telecom services and equipment
- Ensure vendor compliance with ESPN's technical standards
- Complete assigned special projects as needed
- Travel for on-site event support during evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in broadcast or technical operations including remote transport systems
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Prior proven ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a focus on operational excellence
- Knowledgeable in production workflow and telecom services
