Remote Denials Specialist

We are seeking experienced Denials Specialists to support a healthcare organization's Revenue Cycle team. This is a 3-month contract role starting on September 21.

About the role

This position will focus on resolving commercial payer claim denials, AR follow-up, appeals, and account resolution within Epic.

Responsibilities

• Resolve commercial payer claim denials
• Perform AR follow-up and appeals
• Manage account resolution within Epic
• Complete 40-50 accounts per day
• Maintain quality and documentation standards

Requirements

• 3+ years of hospital revenue cycle experience
• 3+ years of denial management and AR follow-up
• Recent Epic experience (required)
• Commercial payer experience
• Knowledge of denial resolution and appeals processes

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Waystar experience
• Experience with Aetna, Cigna, UHC, Anthem, and other commercial payers
• Experience managing large denial inventories
• Consulting/project-based experience
• Track record of meeting productivity goals

Work Environment

• Fully remote position
• Company-issued equipment provided
• Standard business hours
• 2-week training period

Pay

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
