Remote Customer Service Representative
This is a contract, fully remote position based in Jacksonville, FL. The anticipated application deadline is Aug 8, 2026.
About the role
Deliver the highest level of customer service experience by engaging with customers over the phone and online chat, assisting with account management, verifying eligibility for coverages, and reviewing healthcare options. Problem-solve by finding creative solutions to consumer issues and resolving them in a timely manner. Become an expert on the company, product, and policies through extensive self-study, training, and testing, while adhering to regulated communication guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Answer customer calls and online chat inquiries
- Reset passwords and assist with creating accounts
- Upload documents and answer general questions
- Help customers manage their accounts
- Verify eligibility for coverages and review healthcare options
- Diagnose, assess, and resolve customer problems or issues promptly
- Display flexibility and adaptability to changing project or program updates
- Demonstrate corporate values consistently
- Complete required training, testing, and certifications, passing all exams to proceed
- Adhere to regulated guidelines for all communication channels
- Interpret and follow defined procedures and policies
- Input customer information into a database
- Perform various administrative duties as assigned
- Troubleshoot equipment issues while working from home (Internet Familiarization Assessment required)
Requirements
- Recent work history with no large gaps in tenure
- High-level customer service experience in call center, healthcare, or insurance preferred
- Professional retail or food service background accepted
- Ability to troubleshoot home equipment issues

- Unable to demonstrate understanding of a workflow process
- Unable to provide well-rounded responses to specific questions or gives short answers

Pay
The pay range for this position is $17.00/hr.
