A bit about us: We are seeking a licensed attorney in good standing (with no disciplinary history in any state) to serve as Lead Attorney on family law cases. This position is ideal for a self-starter who can independently manage all aspects of their cases while providing exceptional client service. 5–20 hours per week Contract - open ended Flexible schedule, remote work (except for required in-person duties) No minimum billed-hours requirement Flexible schedule Must be able to work remotely except for required in-person duties Candidate must be relocated prior to starting work (if not already in the area)
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a wide variety of family law matters, including contested and uncontested divorce cases, custody disputes, and related issues
- Take full ownership of cases from start to finish, including trial preparation and appearances
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients
- Maintain strong organizational practices and attention to detail
- Work remotely, with occasional in-person meetings or court appearances
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of family law experience, including trial work and strong knowledge of state family law procedures and court rules
- Must reside within reasonable travel distance of courthouse and be able to meet clients locally if needed
- Familiarity with Clio legal software and Math4Law is a plus*
- Licensed attorney in good standing with NO disciplinary history in ANY state.
