What You'll Do

  • Manage cases independently from inception through resolution.
  • Handle court appearances, depositions, motions, and other litigation responsibilities.
  • Supervise and mentor junior legal professionals and support staff.
  • Represent financial institutions and other clients in consumer financial services disputes.
  • Advising clients on matters involving federal and state consumer protection laws.

Ideal Background

  • 5-10 years of litigation experience, preferably in: Consumer Financial Services Litigation Commercial Litigation Financial Institutions Defense
  • Experience defending claims under: Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Active bar license and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

  • Advise and defend clients across a broad range of consumer finance and privacy-related matters, including:

Compensation

$175,000-$250,000 base salary, commensurate with experience.
