What You'll Do
- Manage cases independently from inception through resolution.
- Handle court appearances, depositions, motions, and other litigation responsibilities.
- Supervise and mentor junior legal professionals and support staff.
- Represent financial institutions and other clients in consumer financial services disputes.
- Advising clients on matters involving federal and state consumer protection laws.
Ideal Background
- 5-10 years of litigation experience, preferably in: Consumer Financial Services Litigation Commercial Litigation Financial Institutions Defense
- Experience defending claims under: Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Active bar license and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
