REMOTE Construction Admin
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and issue formal contractual notices such as delay notices, change notifications, and claims correspondence in alignment with contract requirements.
- Ensure all notices are clear, accurate, and delivered within required contractual timeframes.
- Align notices with the Project Organization Plan and established document control procedures.
- Verify compliance with Owner requirements, including Code of Accounts, Change Control Plan, and risk management protocols.
- Receive and process notices from the General Contractor, maintaining and updating the Notice Register daily to ensure accurate tracking and documentation.
- Distribute notices to appropriate stakeholders and follow up for timely responses and resolution.
- Maintain communication logs to ensure full traceability of all correspondence.
- Partner with Project Management, Legal, and Construction teams to validate notice content, risk exposure, and contractual implications.
- Leverage commercial acumen to guide stakeholder engagement and support dispute avoidance/resolution.
- Upload and manage all notices within enterprise systems such as Procore, SharePoint, or QuickBase.
- Ensure documentation meets audit requirements and quality standards, tracking critical notice deadlines and maintaining complete records for compliance.
- Provide ongoing support to the Contract Administration Team on commercially driven tasks and assist with archiving and organizing commercial documentation.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency with Procore, QuickBase, and document control systems.
- Strong knowledge of construction administration and contract terms and conditions.
- Experience in construction contract administration, claims, or notice writing with 5+ years of experience.
- High attention to detail with strong written communication skills.
- Able to coordinate across cross-functional project teams and manage competing deadlines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and data entry.
- Familiarity with project coordination within construction environments.
Work Environment
This position can be based on-site in Boise or local to Portland, with a hybrid schedule of 3 days at the Lake Oswego office. On-site presence in Boise is preferred.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $125,000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
