Remodeling Team Lead and Handyman
About the role
Cransten is revolutionizing the handyman and residential remodeling industry, dedicating itself to customer satisfaction and employee transparency. The company employs highly skilled, service‑oriented and trustworthy individuals who intend to grow their skill set. As a team member, Cransten will first assess your skill set, determine a course of action to cater to your strengths and develop any needed skills. The typical schedule is Monday‑Friday during regular business hours, with adjustments usually accommodated; you’ll typically handle 1‑2 jobs per day ranging from ceiling fan installations to full bathroom remodels, with details (time, place, work description, anticipated hours, price estimate, customer contact) provided via a smartphone app. Prior to each appointment you’ll confirm with the customer, prepare tools, pick up materials, arrive, take photos, collect a signature, and if the scope changes you’ll adjust the cost (change order). You’ll complete the work with a focus on customer service and quality, then take photos and obtain a final signature. Cransten offers three experience tiers—Handyman, Journeyman, and Master—and this position is at the Master level, with a clear path for advancement based on consistent performance and a desire to improve. Employees describe the workplace as fulfilling the company’s mission, offering new adventures daily, a family‑oriented environment, and opportunities to learn and develop skills. Customers praise Cransten for providing an affordable, pressure‑free experience that lets them enjoy their homes again. The company values transparency, integrity, growth opportunities, work/life balance, and the ability to work independently or learn from others based on skill level.
