Remodel Merchandiser

About the role

SPAR is growing our overnight reset and remodel merchandising team. This role will be part of a team remodeling the insides of big box retailers, working overnights to build, assemble, and install shelving and fixtures. Ideal candidates have a background in merchandising resets, remodels, installation, construction, or general labor. The ideal merchandiser is self-sufficient, highly motivated, knows their way around a tool bag, and has the drive to produce high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Projects include category resets and fixture installation, with ongoing long-term work available.

Responsibilities

• Work overnights remodeling big box retail stores
• Build and assemble retail store shelving fixtures
• Work with Plan-O-Grams on all items tagged and approved by store management
• Update signage, shelf conditions, and schematics completion
• Engage in considerable physical activity, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs

Requirements

• Ability to stand for a minimum shift of 8 hours
• Must be able to take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing products on shelves
• Planogram experience (preferred)
• Ability and willingness to work the overnight shift (10 PM – 7 AM, Sunday – Thursday)
• Knowledge/ability to use basic tools necessary for the job
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, personal cell phone, and valid email address
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Steel-toed footwear is required to be worn on the job site

Pay

$20 per hour

Schedule

10 PM – 7 AM, Sunday – Thursday
