About the role
Remediation Project Manager Environmental Restoration LLC is a provider of cost-effective hazardous wastes material management and removal services. Founded in 1997, we have been a remediation contractor for federal, state, local agencies and private sector clients, providing services nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Develop and submit work plans, fixed price estimates, schedules, and proposal-related submittals.
- Manage and supervise multi-disciplinary response personnel for remedial actions involving hazardous substances, oil and other contaminants or pollutants at a site.
- Prepare written technical reports covering all aspects of site operations, including as-builts, hazard evaluations, waste profiling, transportation and disposal, data evaluation, and daily site summaries.
- Manage and ensure proper execution of multiple simultaneous subcontracts of varying type and complexity, serving as the contractor's point-of-contact with subcontractors.
- Independently negotiate and resolve subcontractor disputes.

- Prepare and modify site-specific health and safety plans in accordance with EPA and OSHA regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Act as site safety officer.
- Use complex Excel spreadsheets to quantify and track level of effort over multiple tasks.
- Estimate projects, lead proposal efforts, handle cost tracking, and maintain schedules.
- Possess strong communication skills to impress private and government clients.
Requirements
- Four (4) years of remediation and environmental construction experience in the cleanup of hazardous substances, oil and other contaminants or pollutants.
- One (1) year of the required experience must be in a capacity of site project manager, managing and supervising multi-disciplinary response personnel for remedial actions involving hazardous substances, oil and other contaminants or pollutants at a site.
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering, science, or related environmental studies, preferred.
- Ability to prepare written technical reports covering all aspects of site operations.
- Ability to manage and ensure proper execution of multiple simultaneous subcontracts of varying type and complexity.
- Knowledge of site cost management systems used to track and document site costs.
- Ability to operate the computer software and prepare daily cost reports.
- Knowledge of OSHA health and safety regulations regarding hazardous waste site and general construction site operations.
- Possesses ability to estimate projects, lead proposal efforts, handle cost tracking and maintain schedules.
- Strong communication skills with a proven track record of impressing private and government clients.
Qualifications
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and physical exam.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States (verified through E-Verify).
- Able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments.
- Able to wear a respirator.
