Responsibilities

  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Basic disassembly, washing, and assembly of parts.
  • Identify serviceable vs. non-serviceable parts.
  • Operation of semi-automatic equipment i.e. pedestal buffers, hand buffers, wash machines, ultra-sonic washers.
  • Handle parts, tools in a safe manner.
  • Proper use of power and manual tools i.e. impact wrenches, drills, EZ Outs, hand tools.
  • Understand and comply with all quality and safety rules, guidelines, policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Technical Capacity: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance. Knowledge of generally accepted best practices and theory. Good mechanical skills. Knowledge of shop use of measuring devices. Ability to complete disassembly process without destroying parts.
  • Communication Proficiency: Organizational Skills. Time Management.

Skills And Competencies

  • Skill: Supervisory Responsibility. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

  • The employee will be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Required Education And Experience
