Job Summary
VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center is seeking a board certified or residency trained Veterinary Radiologist to join their part time or relief shifts team. The practice is located in a state-of-the-art facility with advanced imaging equipment and a supportive team environment.
About the Role
VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center is a leading private specialty referral practice in Northern California. The hospital was founded in 2007 and has since expanded to include a 64-slice Toshiba CT with automatic injector, a 1.5 Tesla MRI, and a variety of diagnostic tools including ultrasound, endoscopy, and laparoscopy.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
- Interpret radiographic images and collaborate with other specialists to develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with the intern class to provide teaching and mentoring opportunities
- Participate in daily rounds and case discussions
Requirements
- Board certification or residency training in veterinary radiology
- Experience in performing and interpreting diagnostic imaging procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in California
