About the role
As a Radiologist at VCA, you will use your superior medical judgment, combined with empathy, confidence, and humility, to save pets' lives. You will be part of a network of over 4,500 veterinarians, including more than 600 specialists.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert diagnostic imaging services.
- Interpret radiographic images to diagnose and treat various conditions.
- Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to develop treatment plans.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in veterinary radiology through continuing education.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited school.
- Board certification in veterinary radiology.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in veterinary radiology.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic imaging equipment and software.
